Hey fellas,

some months have passed for now and I thought of this kind of thing quite a long time and now I will announce this officially!


Please help me spread the word of my contest, I really hope that many of you will participate!
If this contest is a success I will do more of those contests, every time with another Disney based themes!

From Today I start the 1st Keyblade Design Contest!

The Judge will be me, I want to do this on my own.
My helping assistant will be my Sister , she is not that into Kingdom Hearts, but she is a huge fan of Disney, like me, so she will judge differently than me, her opinion ís going to be important!

The rules are pretty simple:
I give you three Disney Movies and I want you, the participant of this Contest to design a Keyblade!
Everyone is allowed to participate but you are only allowed to make 1 Keyblade per Disney Theme!

This means for example that makes Keyblades for 3 Disney Themes, but only ONE FOR EACH THEME!
All Combinations are okay 1 of 3 Themes, 2 of 3 Themes, all 3 Themes, as long as you know that you only can upload 1 picture for 1 Theme.

Pretty important for me are your actual thoughts to the work you have done, for example Why did you choose XY for the Herp-a-Derp Theme etc, you have to explain your thoughts and feelings here.
IMPORTANT: Please try to avoid writing the Bible in your description, just write some few Notes about your Ideas why you actually made this like that etc.

What is the prize?
The price is pretty easy to guess, the Winner Keyblades will be made by me in the typical way you actually know!

OMG THIS ONE PERSON IS PARTICIPATING TOO AND IS TOO GOOD! Do I have a chance too?
I will judge your work in my special way, everyone has a fair chance since I am the only judge and I want to see what you have in mind.
No one will be prefered by me so feel free to work with all of your heart!

I can only write my Idea!
That is actually too bad, I won't accept this in my Contest, you have to be a bit artistic and show me your Idea in a Picture, not in mere words.
BUT if you can't picturize your Idea you can choose ONE Person and ask her/him to make this for you but it has to be clear that this a Teamwork thing and needs to be credited like this. If the Person who draws the Keyblade, wants to participate for herself/himself this will be okay also. This is the exception rule for the "non drawers" and they can only do that once.
The drawer can only accept one person to make their Keyblades, only to avoid too many pictures from one artist. So please hold that rule!

B-b-but I don't have *Insert super special awesome program here* D:
So what? As long as you make it with your prefered media I am fine with that! Just draw it like you can do it best!
BUT I won't accept collages from the movie cut out and pasted together, this is not fair against all others and won't show your Idea at all. It has to be a drawing!
You can do this on any kind of paper, checkered is okay, as long as you color this, the way you put it into the PC is also free to choose, but please try to make the picture see-able and clear!!!

I am afraid that I won't win and I will cry like a kid if I don't win D:

Actually the thing with my own decision here is that it could be, that I will announce more than 1 Winner for a Theme! Why? Because I like the Hiltguard from Keyblade A and the Blade from Keyblade B. Can be, but it depends on your work!

When do I have to submit my Keyblade?
Deadline is the last Day of May, so please take your time to do a Keyblade you think would be the best representing the Disney Movie I choose for you!

Where do I have to show you my Idea(s)?
Please submit your entry in this Journal here, but as I said before, try to take your time and mostly important:
Do not REPLY on your own comment to add something, I don't get notified when you do this like that!

THE THREE DISNEY THEMES ARE:

Atlantis, Enchanted & Treasure Planet

It is actually possible to create a Keyblade based on those movies, even Enchanted, because I got an Idea myself!
I really really hope that some guys also try the Enchanted Task, this isn't the easiest theme cause it mixed up all other Princesses Stories, BUT you can do it!
For inspiration just watch the movies! I believe in your creativity!

4 Entries based on Atlantis
2 Entries based on Enchanted
4 Entries based on Treasure Planet
All 6 participaters made a wonderful Job with their entries and I am very happy with the momentary results!
But somehow I still hope that more of you will participate?
